Inputs, field by field
Fill the essential fields first — they are all you need for a solid result. The 7 advanced fields are optional context tucked under an "Advanced context (optional)" disclosure: the more you add, the deeper and more tailored the analysis. The main input must be at least 20 characters or the run is blocked with "Add more detail to the main input for a high-quality analysis."
| Field | What to enter | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Objectives (main input) | What the content should achieve, plus any constraints (team size, cadence, budget). | Grow organic signups 3× in 6 months with a one-person content team. |
| Business Type | Your business model — shapes the right content mix. | Agency, SaaS, Creator, E-commerce. |
| Industry | Your sector — guides topics, tone, and channels. | Marketing, Health & wellness, Fintech. |
| Audience | The people you want the content to reach and influence. | Marketing managers at early-stage startups. |
| Field | What to enter | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Channels / Platforms | The platforms you’ll actually distribute on. | Blog/SEO, LinkedIn, YouTube, newsletter. |
| Cadence / Capacity | Realistic output volume — keeps the plan executable. | 2 blog posts + 3 LinkedIn posts per week. |
| Team / Resources | Who produces content and any budget. | One marketer plus a freelance writer. |
| Current Content | Existing content and what performs — what to double down on. | How-to posts do well; thought-leadership flops. |
| Brand Voice | The voice your content should carry. | Practical, no jargon, founder-led. |
| Success Metrics | The outcomes content should drive. | Organic signups, newsletter subs, demo requests. |
| Time Horizon | The window this strategy covers. | Next two quarters. |
How to run it
- 1
Open Content Strategy
Find it in the sidebar under the Marketing Intelligence suite, or from the dashboard.
- 2
Fill the essential fields
Be specific — vague inputs produce vague intelligence. Watch the character counter on long fields.
- 3
Add advanced context (optional)
Expand "Advanced context (optional)" and add whatever you know — competitors, constraints, metrics.
- 4
Attach a prior analysis (optional)
Use "Add context from a prior analysis" to inject a saved Audience Intelligence or Market Intelligence result as extra context.
- 5
Choose visibility (in a Team/Agency/Enterprise scope)
Pick "Shared with team" (default) or "Private to me".
- 6
Click "Build Strategy (4 Tokens)"
The run costs 4 tokens. It typically completes in 30–60 seconds; the result saves automatically.
Reading the results
This is a strategic analysis: the Executive Summary leads, followed by the detailed sections as tabs.
Every result follows the universal section contract, so you always know where to look:
- Key Findings
- Strengths
- Weaknesses
- Opportunities
- Risks
- Recommendations
- Action Plan
- Next Steps
From the result you can Rerun, Share (copies formatted text), Delete, or export via Copy / TXT / CSV. PDF export is a Pro-plan feature. Everything you run is also kept in History.
Works well with
This tool is part of a connected ecosystem — chain it with:
- Audience Intelligence — run it first, then attach its saved result here for sharper output.
- Market Intelligence — run it first, then attach its saved result here for sharper output.
Tips for a better analysis
- Write like you are briefing a sharp consultant: concrete numbers, real names, actual objections.
- Fill advanced fields when you have the data — they measurably deepen the output.
- Skim the Executive Summary first, then dive into Recommendations and the Action Plan.
- Chain tools: feed an earlier analysis in as context to compound the intelligence.
