How tokens work

Monthly vs purchased tokens, the spend order, resets, and what each tool costs.

Two kinds of tokens

Your balance is split into two buckets:

  • Monthly tokens — included with your plan; on paid plans they reset every cycle (about every 30 days). On the Free plan the allowance is one-time and does not reset.
  • Purchased tokens — bought as top-up packs; they never expire and roll over indefinitely.

Your total balance is simply monthly + purchased. Analyses spend monthly tokens first, then dip into purchased tokens only once the monthly allowance is used up — so your never-expiring tokens are preserved as long as possible.

Resets

On paid plans, monthly tokens refresh to your plan's allowance at the start of each billing cycle (see your renewal date in the Billing Center). Purchased tokens are untouched by resets. The Free plan does not refresh: its allowance is granted once when you sign up, and topping up or upgrading is how you add more.

What each tool costs

Costs are per run and range from 3 to 6 tokens. If a run fails, the exact tokens are automatically refunded.
